BUILT WITH CARE
Information matters.
So does how we share it.
Clarity and responsibility belong
at the centre of the experience.
More than
a headline.
Location, supporting details and available evidence help you understand a report in context.
A place for
community voices.
Select “Confirm”, “Deny” or “Not sure”. Community responses help show where people agree and where uncertainty remains.
Awareness,
with care.
Report what you observe. Protect sensitive information. Never put yourself at risk to gather evidence.
SIGNALS, NOT CERTAINTY
Community signals.
Important context.
Location context, community responses, available evidence and moderation help show what is known and what is still developing.
A community verification label is not an official finding. A report may change as more information becomes available. Read the full context before deciding how to act.

ShineEye is not an emergency service and does not dispatch help. Community responses do not guarantee that every detail of a report is correct.

What is ShineEye?

How do community responses work?
People can confirm, deny or choose “Not sure” on a report. These responses provide context; they do not guarantee the report is accurate. Reporters cannot vote on their own reports.
Does ShineEye send emergency help?
